topcontent: <p>To obtain a full motorcycle licence you will need to complete the following 4 stage process.</p> <ul> <li>Step 1: CBT</li> <li>Step 2: Motorcycle Theory test</li> <li>Step 3: Module 1 training and test</li> <li>Step 4: Module 2 training and test</li> </ul> <p>The amount of training for the modules will depend on your previous riding experience. We can advise you once seeing you on your CBT course. It’s best to give us a call to discuss your experience and we can then advise you on how many days you are likely to require. The practical tests are usually taken at the end of the training day depending on our test availability.</p>

The Module 1 test consists of a number of slow speed exercises and a couple done at a higher speed in a tarmac off road area.

The Module 2 test is conducted entirely on road and lasts 30-40 minutes.

There are many options when taking a full motorcycle licence. Some options are age dependant.

If you are over the age of 17 you can complete an A1 licence. You will train and test on a 125cc.

If you are over the age of 19 you can complete an A1 or an A2 licence. You will train and test on a restricted 500cc for the A2.

If you are over the age of 24 you can complete the Category A licence or the A1 and A2. You will train and test on a 600cc for the category A licence.

There are restrictions when taking the A1 or A2. However the category A licence is an unrestricted licence.
